SEL and School Safety

While there are many ways to address school safety, this paper will focus on how social and emotional learning (SEL) can help schools in their multi-pronged approach for ensuring school safety. We will first examine common causes and concerns around school safety, and then we will explore ways SEL can help schools overcome these concerns and create safe and caring learning environments.
