Second Step and DESSA 2 Crosswalks

Overview

The crosswalks below provide an alignment between the Second Step elementary and middle school program lessons and the competencies measured by the DESSA 2. Three separate crosswalks are available depending on which Second Step program your school is implementing:

  1. Crosswalk between the Second Step Elementary Classroom Kits and the DESSA 2
  2. Crosswalk between the Second Step Elementary Digital Program and the DESSA 2
  3. Crosswalk between the Second Step Middle School Digital Program and the DESSA 2

These resources demonstrate how the DESSA 2 can be used to help districts and schools using the Second Step programs ensure students have the skills and mindsets needed to be lifelong learners.
