DESSA System Training: Self-Paced Courses and On-Demand Video Library

Overview

This article describes how to access self-paced courses in the DESSA System Academy, and how to review previously completed course materials.

At Aperture Education, we have the training resources you need to use the DESSA System to its fullest potential! Our training team leverages its implementation expertise to create resources that ensure a successful rollout of the DESSA System for your organization.

There are several ways to learn how to use the DESSA assessments and the DESSA System. You can access each of these resources under the Training tab by clicking on: “Implementation Training” from the drop-down options. You will land on the DESSA System Training page and can select from the different options.

Courses

Aperture Education provides self-paced courses for District Leaders, School Leaders, and Educators. These products and implementation focused modules include everything you need to know about the DESSA assessments, from collecting reliable data and analyzing results, to using resources for data-driven instruction and intervention.

Courses are assigned to users based on their role and type of DESSA assessment. To begin a course, view the available modules within the individual Student Dashboard.

On-Demand Video Library

The On-Demand Video Library contains short self-service videos that guide users through using the DESSA Assessments and the DESSA System. Videos are organized by topic and include various linked resources, as applicable.

Support Portal

The Support Portal is a 24/7 resource library that contains FAQs, user guides and manuals, and articles. you can search by keyword or browse by topic and submit a specific request to our Aperture Education team.
