Rating Window Overview Report

Overview

This article will help you access and use the Rating Window Overview Report to view current and historical student rating data, which allows you to take quick action on results.  

How to Access and Generate the Report 

  1. Select “Data and Insights” at the top of your screen.
  2. Click on “Rating Window Overview Report” to view the current or latest Rating Window.
  3. To view other data sets, use the available filters to select the site(s), rating window(s), and/or rater type you’d like to view. Then, click “Run Report.” 
    • You can choose from both current year or historical rating windows. 
📌 Note: Historical data will only appear if those rating windows were previously set up and completed. 

 

Reviewing the Assessment Scoring Summary 

View the “Assessment Scoring” pie chart(s) for a visual summary of student rating data. 

  1. If your filters are set to “All” and your district uses both the educator-completed DESSA and the Student Self-Report, you will see two separate pie charts — one for each rating type.

Reviewing the Individual Student Data 

Scroll down to the individual student table and click on an individual student’s name to view detailed student-specific data.

📌 Notes: 

  • Clicking a specific section of the pie chart(s) will filter the individual student table below to show only students in the selected category.
  • Users can take additional actions directly from the report, including:
    • Clicking “Rate Students” to complete pending ratings.
    • Clicking “Register Students” to enroll students (for Districts with DESSA Student Self Report).
    • Clicking “Reset Student Passwords” if applicable.
