Activating my DESSA System account

Overview

The following article describes how DESSA x Move This World System invites work for users of various levels of access.

User Invitations for Program Administrators

DESSA x Move This World Customer Support Team will initiate invitations to Program Administrators. Program Administrators will receive an email from platform@apertureed.com with the subject line “Welcome to DESSA x Move This World!” 

  1. Select the Create Account button in the email to open the activation window.
  2. Enter a password for your account.
  3. Select the checkbox to agree with the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
  4. Select Activate.

Email invitations are only active for 7 days. If you receive a message that the link has expired, please request a new invitation by contacting our Customer Support Team at support@apertureed.com.

User Invitations for Staff

Staff members will receive an email from platform@apertureed.com with the subject line “Welcome to Aperture!”

  1. Select the Create Account button in the email to open the activation window.
  2. Enter a password for your account.
  3. Select the checkbox to agree with the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
  4. Select Activate.

Email invitations are only active for 7 days. If you receive a message that the link has expired, please request a new invitation by contacting your Program Administrator.

Account Activation for the Student Self-Report

Students needing access to the Student Portal will need to be provided with the program's unique access code. Then, the students will need to proceed to the student site where they will enter the access code and their Student ID to create their account. The Student ID must match what is stored in the DESSA x Move This World System.

Program Administrators and Site Leads may access the Student Portal access code and directions in the Admin section of their account. 

To retrieve the access code:

  1. Select the gear icon in the top right corner.
  2. Select Admin from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select Student Self Report from the left-side menu.
